Oh wow that's an amazing cake! I'm sure your mother will be thrilled! Cheesy

I have a similar arrangement with some of my friends since we all live in different countries we always bake cakes for each other on each birthday and we each get a picture of the cake with a candle on top held into the camera by the others. It's always great fun! Grin

@JustKat
Thanks! I had the same idea with the headband for the melon. I'll see if it works out thank you. I think it's regular felt. Those sheets of felt you can get from Poundland or similar shops.

@capnstubtooth
Thank you! Grin

I got a bracelet from my grandma she didn't like anymore. It wasn't really my kind of thing either but I though they'd make great earrings. Sadly I don't have a before picture from the bracelet but the green beads were connected to form the bracelet and the round pieces of mother-of-pearl were dangling of the bracelet all around. I got 4 pairs for earrings with green stones from the bracelet and one pair of earrings from the leftover round pieces of mother-of-pearl. I already gave two pairs away. I gave one pair back to my grandma Grin and a friend who loves earrings got another pair.

One of the four pairs. Sorry if the picture is bad! It turns out it's quite difficult to take pictures of earrings! xD

The lone pair made from the leftover pieces.

I'm not exactly sure if this actually belongs into this forum and neither what to actually call these. I call them patches since I usually sew security pins to the back and but them onto bags. But see for yourself... Grin

This is the latest I have done. Calcifer from Howl's Moving Castle.

A watermelon with beads on it. I'm actually considering removing the beads and replacing them with black felt spots, because the beads make it quite heavy.

An unfinished Ironman mask, panda and a bee. The bee has been on my bag for a while that's why it already looks a bit shabby.

Better panda picture. Tongue The panda is actually meant to go on a little needle book I made a while ago.

Ladybug and Dragonfly. I have honestly no idea what to do witht eh Dragonfly since it's way to fragile. I actually wanted to put some shimmering green beads on it but they're too heavy.
