91  Re: I Love Rocks! Gallery in The Swap Gallery by Witchhippie on: August 25, 2011 07:35:31 PM

I received my gifts today. I am so spoiled, I feel like I robbed my partner of all her belongings!!

When I got home today I rushed to the mailbox only to find more bills.  Embarrassed However, about an hour later there was a knock on the door. It was the UPS guy or the box man as my son used to call him.

This is what I saw.

My first thought was, that is going to be a huge rock, but then I opened it  to find there were more boxes wrapped in beautiful gold paper. There was a box for my son along with a djembe drum. When he saw the drum he didn't even care about the boxes anymore.

I had to make him put the drum down to unwrap his box, and boy he was glad he did.

This is everything inside of his bug box.

Then it was my turn.

I love the box, the picture does no justice for it at all. It had to take hours to glue all them pebbles on this box.

Inside the box:

She had all these tumbled stones wrapped in paper and had them labeled with their names and information about each of them.

These are the beautiful bracelets she made for me.

These are the painted rocks closeup. My favorite is the tree.

She also included a snot load of paper craft supplies because I mentioned that I would like to start doing more of it. I didn't take any pictures of the paper supplies.

This is how my night ended!! I couldn't have asked for a better 1st swap. Thank You very much!

93  My weekend getaway!! in More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works by Witchhippie on: August 02, 2011 08:54:57 PM
My sister and I decided to go camping and search for rocks and work on artsy stuff. This is a painting I did and a pitcher I decorated and make into a paint brush holder. I was inspired by a painting I saw elsewhere and really enjoyed the colors. I will defiantly have a weekend getaway like this again, spite the bears...  Grin

95  Melted bead bowl in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by Witchhippie on: July 28, 2011 12:49:36 PM

I'm not sure if I posted this in the right spot. However, this is a large lot of melted plastic beads. (You know the ones you can never find anything to do with) I got the idea from Cut-out and keep
 http://www.cutoutandkeep.net/projects/melted_bead_bowl

I made all different sizes but I don't have anymore pictures at this time.

I love them.
