31  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Discussion and Questions / tattoo question on: May 29, 2005 03:35:03 PM
I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the right place, but...here goes.

For any of you who have tattooed feet, have you noticed that the ink fades quickly?  I finally convinced my tattoo guy to do some work on my feet but he's still a bit hesitant.  He claims they fade really fast from wearing shoes/socks, etc. and thinks they're a waste of time.  Weird, considering that would mean more business for him if I went back for touch-ups.  Anyway, I've got tats everywhere else on my body and this was the one that I've wanted the most for a LONG time.

Any info would be great!

Thanks!!!
32  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Discussion and Questions / can you really spray-paint a ceramic cookie jar??? on: May 25, 2005 06:49:35 AM
A few years back my old boss gave me a cookie jar as a Christmas gift.  It's cute, but not really my style.  I'm in the process of buying a new house and I want to accessorize my kitchen with various red objects.  My question, I guess, is how should I repaint the jar?  It's already glazed and fired, and regular acrylic or latex paint works for a short while but then it just peels off.  Anyone know if I can use spraypaint???  I'd love to get a nice high-gloss paint.  What kind should I use???

Thanks ahead of time for your input!
