1  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Lil Mermaid amigurumi on: August 17, 2015 09:26:14 PM
My local Joanns had a big yarn clearance and I was able to snag a few gems. All of these were either $1.97 or $2.97 .

I managed to get the last 2 skeins of Red Heart Shimmer in Peacock and Purple Haze. I just knew I had to make mermaid amigurumis with them! I made this Ariel using Peacock ^_^ She is 5 inches tall and has a mix of cotton and acrylic yarns.

I hope you guys like this lil redhead <3

2  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Ariel the Little Mermaid amigurumi on: February 28, 2013 10:04:42 AM
The little mermaid is my favorite disney princess. Growing up I always wanted to have a tail like Ariel and swim around the beach/pool like her. I made this doll just for fun , This was my first time making a fish/mermaid. I would like to add some scales and something around her waist maybe. Other than that I am quite pleased how she turned out.
Her hair was attached with a latch hook which was super time consuming but honestly it was the best approach. Amigurumi hair is probably the thing i struggle with the most.

3  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Dr. Doom on: February 03, 2013 10:14:55 AM
when someone suggested I make a Dr. Doom doll I was like no way! how can I pull that off? nonetheless , I gave it a shot and I'm really pleased on how he turned out. Making his face was probably the hardest part and felt was really my only option since a crochet face looked horrible :/ (i tried) anyways on to the pics!

4  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Mira Armstrong doll on: February 05, 2012 03:22:13 PM
Major General Olivier Mira Armstrong...now doesn't that just roll off your tongue Tongue

This amigurumi was a challenge for me since I had to make a removable coat, sword and her medals. Not to mention that her state alchemist uniform was no cake walk! I am pleased on how she turned out considering I have only made another felt sword in the past.

She measures 23 cm (9 inches) tall and is made out of acrylic yarns , her sword has a wire inside to keep it stiff . I made a little handle for her sword so she hold it in her hand with no problems and for easy removal when taking on/off her coat.

Feedback and constructive criticism is welcome! Smiley

5  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Dead Rising 2 amigurumi on: January 22, 2012 12:17:20 PM
Here is one of my latest creations, a Chuck Greene doll. I tried crocheting his jacket but it looked weird so I used felt instead since i didn't have any black fabric around. I am not good at embroidery at all haha but I did my best Smiley

6  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Dimebag Darrell on: January 06, 2012 05:02:25 PM
This was a Xmas present I made for my husband who is a huge Pantera fan.He is Dimebag , Pantera's guitarist. I attempted to make a guitar prop for him but I'm not too happy about it, in retrospective I would have added guitar strings made out of thread ,maybe add Dean guitar logo on the guitar head and a guitar strap. He opened his gift on xmas eve and he loved it so, that made me happy  Smiley

7  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / The legend of Zelda amigurumis (10 pics) on: November 27, 2011 08:34:24 PM
I've been playing Zelda games since the 80's (wow, im old) and no other game can be as magical, adventurous, exciting and at times frustrating. Here is a little homage to Zelda and it's 25 years of awesomeness!

These are my Link amigurumis ^__^

8  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Cardcaptor Sakura in Bunny Suit on: November 22, 2011 09:25:06 AM
From the anime Cardcaptors or Cardcaptor Sakura. This is the largest doll I've made so far being around 11-12 inches tall (not including ears). Her coat is removable too but I totally forgot to take some pics of it off Sad
I had been waiting for a challenge like this to come along, she was very fun and I must admit frustrating at times. I think I spent around 10-12 hrs completing her. Her hair is handtied individually so that probably took about an hour to make.Oh yea and her eyes are airbrushed a cool green color.

I am very proud of this doll and I believe all those hours of working on her were worth it in the end, any comments are greatly appreciated.

I didn't write a pattern for this doll.

9  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Soap MacTavish - Modern Warfare on: November 10, 2011 12:23:40 PM
i made this lil soap MacTavish from the Call of Duty series for the midnight release of MW3 Smiley

He was super fun to make and it's one of my favorite characters of call of duty (right after Ghost). Hope you guys like him!

10  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Princess Serenity Angel on: September 16, 2011 01:20:36 PM
another homage to Sailor Moon... Ive been kinda making only sailor moon related dolls lately ahaha. This time it's Serena/Usagi as princess serenity with angel wings. She is now in her little display stand in my desk ^_^  My dogs were barking at her because they thought she was some kind of bird lol
