31  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Bee, Bat, and Butterflies!!! on: October 25, 2010 01:49:28 PM

I don't know why I didn't make bees and butterflies before, they turned out awesome I think!

The bat I'm not so sure about, but he's not bad.
32  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / A steampunk Crow...and a skull, a wing, etc.... on: October 14, 2010 07:50:30 PM
The crow was a request, not something I think I would have done, but I am so glad I did. It made me push myself out of my comfort zone and I see I need to find more ways of doing that because that's how we improve right? It is so awesome to see such improvement in my work.

the most awesome wing I've made so far!

a skull cabochon, I've had a few folks say I  should make cabochons, so why not! This was actually another request though, but still glad I did it.

Another cabochon

And last but not least, a steampunk hummingbird! Isn't he cute Smiley
33  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Steampunk Goodies!!! on: October 07, 2010 03:55:18 PM

34  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Dragon wing and Tails!!!! on: October 03, 2010 05:52:14 AM
The dragon wing pendant was an experiment/prototype really, but I was amazed at how well it came out, I think it rocks. The dragon tail pendant came out OK, in my head I thought they would be cooler though lol

I love this silver wing pendant, almost as cool as the steampunk wings I made, but still very cool

LOVE this! I only recently realized I have HUGE medieval leanings, and I think this amulet/pendant is perfect Smiley

So much of what i do is all about the texture.....you just gotta be brave a go with it because texture rocks!
35  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Fairy Doors!!! on: October 02, 2010 02:45:47 PM
And all but one of these is completely mica free Smiley

36  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Dragonflies!!! on: September 15, 2010 03:01:18 PM
I don't know why I haven't done this in the black before, I think the black turned out really cool! I think it's my favorite of this new batch.

and some ball and chain jewelry...I think this group will appreciate these Shocked)

37  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Reducing my dependence on mica powders! on: September 12, 2010 06:04:51 AM
On the dragon's eye....Not a single bit of mica powders or metallic wax for that matter, all clay. What do you think?

New dragonflies I made last week, they demand mica powders lol

38  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / I can post pics now!!!! on: September 04, 2010 12:15:16 PM
Hi All! I'm not a heavy poster so it took a bit for me to get my 10 posts in so I could post photos  Roll Eyes I think there's a great and talented group here and I've enjoyed going around and checking out everything.

I have not been working with polymer clay nearly as long as most of you, but I do love it. I just think the sheer possibilities of it are exciting. I make mostly pendants...for now. They are a lot of fun but I'm sure what I make will change just as much as the quality (hopefully!) get's better and my imagination cuts loose.

39  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Hi All! new here... - pendants on: August 25, 2010 08:25:08 AM
And I love polymer clay! Wanted to stop by and say 'Hi', maybe say something about myself? I live in AZ, grew up in Indiana, and have been a OCD crafter for my whole adult life (how long that is I will not be saying Wink.  My biggest passions have been scroll sawing (used to design and sell painted woodcrafts), decorative concrete (it's a very forgivable medium, really), and polymer clay. I wonder sometimes where PC has been all my life but then I think it probably came along just when I was ready for it.

I make polymer clay pendants mostly, but also paperweights, and I'm sure i'll venture into other things at some point, but right now I love making pendants. Can't post pics yet...but here are a couple of links...
