these costumes are awesome. the eyelash fabric is perfect for the aliens! i started doing the "yip, yip, yip, yip, uh huh, uh huh" thing when i saw the photo and my mom had to come over and see what i was looking at. she loved the costumes as well. Smiley

found out recently that my cousin is having a little baby girl around thanksgiving. yay - don't have to worry about making the baby gifts look masculine, just in case. totally making these!


edit: making these now with #2s and dreambaby dk. definitely the smallest yarn and needles i've ever knit with. i'm usually on #10s or #11s with scarves and hats! Wink

ok, mine is about 40" across and i'm wondering how much further it should go. i don't really have an intended baby in mind to give it to, so i was thinking of making it bigger than a standard baby blanket. will post pics when completed!
