I'm going very 30's-ish with my wedding too.  I bought my dress and am saving my diy for other things i don't care as much if i screw up.  that aside, i got mine from venus bridals.  they have some great vintage-ish looks.  maybe you could get some inspiration there.

very cool.  i'm going to have a few kids at my wedding and have been trying to come up with some creative things to make it fun for them too.  this one is great.

Very nice.  I've seen that dress being sold online.  I'm sure your's was much more frugal, though.

There's this tapas bar in Whistler Canada that has martinis named after the seven sins and the seven virtues, and they were deli.  Maybe you could do themed cocktails or desserts.  Oooo.  What about devil's food and angel food cakes?
