I know a certain little girl in my life that would FREAK OUT if she came home to that in her room!  Cheesy You did a great job, and now I'm on the hunt for the goodies to make one my for my Little Miss.
25  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / Girls' Scarf Pants on: February 09, 2014 10:51:28 AM
A million years ago, I came across these crazy vivid scarves at the 99c Only store. Having visions of sewing them all together to make a curtain for my closet door, I snatched up all of the scarves they had. Flash forward two+ years, closet door project long abandoned, I was cleaning out my super scary craft closet and came across my pile of scarves and decided to make a pair of wide-legged pants for my 5 year old.
I sewed two scarves together along one side for each leg, using a basic pants pattern and then just flaring out the bottom super big. Easy peasy, less than an hour later, my daughter was rockin' these babies. She definitely will not blend in in a crowd. <3

And with those words, my heart swelled and we got to work. My 5 year old decided she wanted to make a skirt, so I let her choose from my fabric stash--of course she went right to my vintage sheets. She decided she wanted a long skirt, so I helped her draw out the lines on the fabric in an A-line shape and then she cut it out. She did all of the pinning (and promptly poked herself, rite of passage!) and all of the sewing, while I controlled the speed of the machine. About 30 minutes later, she was just beside herself with pride. Best. Feeling. Ever.

I saw this pattern http://www.scatteredthoughtsofacraftymom.com/2014/01/tiny-crochet-heart-pattern.html and I thought it would be perfect for Valentine's Day for my daughter's friends at school. The hearts crocheted up super quickly, less than 3 minutes per heart. I hope the girls like them. Smiley

Whoa, I really love these. You did a great job, and so freakin' creative with the names. And I love how sloped the area is; it makes me think that the decaying bodies are slowly slumping over...  Shocked

Very well done. I especially like the short-in-the-middle-long-on-the-sides action.  Smiley
