1  COOKING / Recipes and Cooking Tips / Chicken Wing Dip!!! on: January 14, 2011 05:40:36 AM
This is a great party food, though I make it more than just for parties and sometimes my husband and I will eat this as a meal! haha

Here is how to make it!

1 bar cream cheese
2 cans chicken or 2 chicken breasts shredded
1 bottle of chicken wing sauce (I use store brand... it is just as good)
1 bottle of chunky blue cheese dressing (I am partial to Ken's myself)
2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese

Mix all of the ingredients together and put in baking dish. Bake at 400 degrees until hot and bubble (about 30 min or so). You will want to stir occasionally so it warms up evenly.

I serve with cut baguette or any other bread I have around the house at the time!

ENJOY!!!!!  Wink
2  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Winter Holidays / Christmas wreath on: January 13, 2011 08:51:19 AM
I had some ornaments and other stuff lying around and a blank wreath. This is what I came up with. I painted the sign and attached it all to the wreath with a little hot glue. I really like how it turned out!

pics are a little blurry, taken with my phone!

3  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / panel apron on: January 13, 2011 08:46:04 AM
I made this apron for one of my roomates in 09. I loved both of these fabrics and wanted to make her an apron out of both so I compromised and made it panel. No pattern used, just messed around until I liked it.

4  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / retro high waisted apron on: January 13, 2011 08:41:32 AM
I made this apron for my sister-in-law for Christmas 09. She is all about classy retro style so this fabric was great for her. I designed the pattern, it is meant to be worn right under the bust. has a button instead of ties because I ran out of fabric but it worked out well.

5  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Winnie The Pooh Apron on: January 13, 2011 08:35:50 AM
This apron was made for my mother-in-law for Christmas 09. She loves Winnie the Pooh and when I found this fabric I just knew I had to make her an apron. No pattern was used, after trying and failing at using a pattern I decided it would just be whatever came to mind. I really like how it turned out and she really loved it!

6  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / bridal apron on: January 13, 2011 08:33:15 AM
09 was my apron year and I am just now posting. After making aprons for everyone for Christmas, you can check out the posts, I decided to make one for my friend's bridal party. I really like how this one turned out, I wanted to keep it for myself bc I was getting married too! But I had to give it because I knew she would love it. No one believed that I made it, until they looked close to the stitching, haha. It was a hit and she loved it! No pattern used, just cut and went with it. I like the contrast of the patterns and even though she isn't overly girly she loved the pattern too. Patch is from Joann's.

Three pockets for anything you want to put in them!

Another Chirstmas ornament... I went a little overboard this year, once I start a new medium I just can't stop! I am getting better and better and enjoying it more and more.

8  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Cardinal Ornament on: January 13, 2011 08:26:55 AM
This was my second of many... I did a little bit better this time and liked how it turned out. I am now getting this cross-stitching down... I can finish a small one in about one night of stitching while watching tv. I really enjoy doing this, I can clear my mind and really focus.
