1  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / New Handbag!! on: January 25, 2011 07:45:25 AM
A new purse I've made, for my mom, as per request ^_^

Made of black duck cloth, and a blue patterned cotton on the inside. Each of the outside pockets are lined as well.

2  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Purse - Neon and Black! on: December 12, 2010 07:42:42 PM
The first small purse I've made!  It's about 12 inches along the bottom, and 6 inches up the side. About 3 inches deep at the base. I haven't done a bag this small before, but it's a gift for someone.

It's black duck cloth on the outside with bright green thread and a matching zipper.

The bright green zipper matches this:

The inside!  The person that the bag is for chose this bright green cloth and asked me to make something--anything--for them out of it. So I chose to make the lining for this out of it. There are two small pockets on the inside as well. The green lining lines the pockets on the front and on each side of the bag as well.
3  CLOTHING / Costumes: Completed Projects / Renaissance outfits on: September 24, 2010 08:01:40 PM
My first renaissance style costumes! All made with my own pattern. There are pictures of the corset on the right here: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=359123.msg4208117#msg4208117

Both of them are made on the same style, but the one on the left is a bit shorter...

4  CLOTHING / Costumes: Completed Projects / My First Corset! on: September 10, 2010 01:27:51 PM
Well this is the first corset I've ever made. It's made of red and black duck cloth, with white muslin lining the inside. Why? Because that's what I have laying around the house ^_^.  It took about a week to create the pattern and then make it (not including the 40 hours at my real job haha) with only a few small hiccups along the way.

don't mind the horrible blue. I didn't have anything else laying around that I could use. It will be fixed when I manage to get back to the fabric store.

Hopefully more corsets to come in the future!
5  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Laptop/Messenger Bag on: September 07, 2010 09:09:34 PM
I needed a new bag to take to work, and this is what came out!  It is large enough to fit my laptop in when i want to haul it around, but small enough to take to work everyday. And there are lots of pockets! There is one larger pocket on the left, two mini ones on the right. They're a little difficult to see.

Front flap closed, and then opened:

The larger side pocket, with the flap opened. I use it to put my sunglasses in (pictured for size reference):

This is right inside of the front pocket. It contains a coin pouch (which is the zippered area), and a space behind it for the notepad. Three pen holders, and an Ipod holder.

Inside of the main part of the bag. There are two large pouches, and one between them, that is zippered. And a small zippered one on the back wall for personal things, which you can't see

And some pictures with my computer actually in it. It's in the back part of the bag, the zipper divider is between them, and the spiral notebook is in the front part.

6  CLOTHING / Costumes: Completed Projects / Costume - Ezio Auditore Cosplay on: September 06, 2010 08:31:01 PM
This is the completed costume for my Ezio Auditore cosplay porject I've been working on for the last few months. The character is from the video game Assassin's Creed 2 (copyright Ubisoft).

Instead of the normal white version you see everywhere, I did Ezio's fully upgraded outfit, which is black, and included the Armor of Altair.

This is me with my Leonardo da Vinci cosplayer. (sorry it's a little windy outside in the picture).  Both of these costumes were completely handmade, except for the very bottom of the boots, and the pants that you can't see anyway.

Hood down, with no wind:

The hood got very very hot when it's 90 degrees and humid. Thank you Baltimore at the end of July. -_-

A kind of close up of the boot covers (it may be a little dark. sorry!), and the lower part of the front panels, with the griffon designs:

A few images from a later photoshoot:

Leonardo da Vinci repairing one of Ezio's hidden blades!

And finally: Cheers!

This is the best image I have of the bracer on that arm. It was a pain.

Any questions, though, feel free to ask!
