Hi all,

I bought some yarn on sale ..its called Paper Print from Lanagrossa and its 100% polyamide and it feels a bit like craft straw (that is in the bottom of Easter baskets) ...trouble is I don't what to knit with it ...I only bought 4 balls so it will have to be a small project....

Has anyone used this yarn ?

Any suggestions would be gratefully accepted

thanks

Hi everyone ...thought I'd share my story

I'm 37 and been knitting since I was about 10.  My mother taught me the basics and then I studied some of her patterns and taught myself cables and more complicated lacy patterns.

I have knitted all sorts of things...jumpers, cardigans, hats, gloves, scarves, and lots of baby clothes for friends and relatives.  I have never really been interested in knitting toys or dolls though.

When I've knitted in my lunch break at work some people have wanted to learn and some people have wanted me to knit things for them.
I've taught 3 girls at work how to knit and they have found it just as addictive as I do.

Not a day goes by when I don't knit at least a few rows ...even if I'm ill I do try a few stitiches.  Its my passion in life and I always have 3 or 4 projects on the go.

I sometimes knit on the train on my way to work and I don't care who looks at me or what they think either .....I just love getting home after work and picking my knitting.....ahhhhhhhhh

I love seeing how balls of yarn are transformed into something wonderful !!!!

Thanks
