I was at JoAnn's and snatched up some gorgeous pinky/greeny/browny ribbonish yarn. I am looking a shawl to make for it, or one of those stole like scarves (like the clapotis at knitty, sort of). Any ideas? I already peeked at everything at knittingpatterncentral.com, and didn't come up with anything that was that perfect pattern.

Thanks!  Kiss

I think I can get a pic sometime soon....but they are very easy. Just make a rectangle to the size you want and fold it over, sew it up, then stick a button on if you please. You can do zipper ones...but zippers are no fun, now are they?  Grin

Wanted to add that if you want o tmake the sturdy (so the edges you fold over don't curl up), single crochet aroudn the edges before you sew it up. Smiley

I just started mine, which is a bummer since I have to wait a month to join a blog ring (which means no one reads it except for my inlaws and such, since I don't post on boards much.) Here is it, if you want to stop by. Smiley http://www.chroniclesofyarnia.com

I can read magazines while knitting, and I can read forums (just smack the space bar with my arm) or televisionwithoutpity recaps...but not books. All the stops really bug me when reading a book. I have taken to checking out every interesting book on tape that there is and that is what I listen to in the evening.
