151  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Re: Retro Pink Polka Dot Suitcase Revamp! on: March 05, 2005 07:26:58 AM
This is so perfect since I just bought a 4 dollar suitcase from goodwill like a week ago and can't figure out what to do with it. Plus I have a mild obsession with polka dots.

So it was Saturday morning and as soon as I saw this I scurried off and gave it a try. This is the final product.

As you can see I made a few minor adjustments, like I used elastic (which I cut off old underwear), and i just used an old shirt becasue there werent any extra pillow cases. I am looking forward to many a nap.
153  COOKING / Recipes and Cooking Tips / Re: munch-a-lunch? on: February 19, 2005 09:18:51 AM
I usually take cereal. If there is a place to buy one of those small milks then in the morning pour cereal into a paper bowl and cover it with plastic wrap or you could put it in tupperwear if you want to keep up with it the rest of the day. It's cheap and fast though not nessecarily (sp?) healthy. Plus I love cereal any time of the day.

Also I love taking chicken wraps. All you need is a tortilla and some of that Southwestern chicken that there is no need to heat, cheese, ranch dressing, and tomatos and lettuce if you're into that kind of thing. They are really good and just as easy to make as a sandwhich.

Thank you all so much for your comments. I too am polka dot obsessed so I couldn't just let the dress go to ruin.

I sincerely enjoy that.

This is a skirt I made out of a relativly cute polka dotted dress I wore to tacky prom, unfortunatly it was about 3 sizes too big and even if I could alter it to fit I still wouldnt have an occasion to wear it, so I made a skirt.
