1  COOKING / Recipes and Cooking Tips / Re: Super Easy No-Knead Homemade Bread on: August 23, 2010 03:39:45 PM
I have always wanted to make bread but thought you had to keep the yeast alive and/or have a bread maker. This is sooo awesome. I just pulled it out of the oven and it looks delicious!! Thanks so much for this tute. Can't wait to try it.
2  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Get Product and Website Opinions / Re: Please Critique My Website.... on: August 20, 2010 04:26:43 PM
I loved it! I think it was very easy to use. The front page was just a little slow but not more than usual for me and I use a tethering connection from a cell phone. The pictures were awesome. I agree about the watermark even though I don't know much about that. One thing that bothered me was that everything was in lowercase letters. I find it harder to read and think it might be easier to use capital letters. Other than that I think it's awesome! I like the simplicity of it.

Yep your skills are improving with each page. I really liked the halloween page. Too cute.

I love this!!! It is so cute. I like the way you made the two pages become like one with the same pattern. I think I might try that on my next scrapbook. Last year I used a letter of the alphabet on each page with a word that would describe my little girl beginning with that letter. Great job! And thanks for the inspiration.
5  FIBER ARTS / Felting: Discussion and Questions / Re: I would love to be able to create something like this but... on: August 20, 2010 04:06:17 PM
I think I saw a project simular to this on either threadbanger.com or a youtube video. Maybe you could look up felted scarf or something like that.
6  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing in General: Discussion and Questions / Re: What does your partner mean about your sewing? on: August 20, 2010 03:59:46 PM
My husband likes the idea that I have a hobby. He is a computer junkie and is glad that I have something to keep me occupied to give him time to himself. I think sometimes he likes some of the things I make and I don't think he minds me spending the extra money because he spends a lot on his hobbies too. However, occasionally he will make a comment that he is kinda mean even if he isn't trying to be. I was really surprised how many people have supportive partners. I guess it helps keep you motivated that you can actually make something that is awesome. He hates going into fabric stores with me except when I made a cover for the futon in his office. It takes longer for us to pick out something together than it does if I just do it. But for the most part he likes that I make stuff.
