11  FIBER ARTS / Weaving: Completed Projects / Re: Card woven belts on: February 22, 2012 11:13:49 AM
these are so beautiful.  I onced used something similar to these to make a strap for my camera, you know the kind that attaches to either side and then you wear around your neck like a tourist ( I even  made it where the lenght was adjustable).  Also is it possible to wrap these around the waist more than once before securing with a decorative pin or knot? Again these are lovely.

I love this!!  I've been wanting to do a T-shirt quilt but for some reason was worried about the comfort factor, but he looks really comfy and snuggly.  (My DH has been a stagehand for 12 years and until recent years EVERY band gave you a T-shirt after the show loaded out)  Anyway I love how yours is kind of a cazy quilt design and making it as a duvet cover is brilliant!

BRILLIANT!  For years I've hung vintage hats on the wall as an art arrangement, I am so stealing this idea so I can add my vintage jewelry to the mix. THANKS

16  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Re: t-shirt quilt -contains slight profanity on: August 13, 2010 05:04:15 PM
I love this!!!  I think this is just the inspiration I needed, as I've thought about doing a T-shirt quilt forever.  My husband is in the entertainment industry and we have a ridiculous number of local crew concert T-shirts (ten years worth), from all kinds of bands.  Don't worry about it being a little off square most likely you are the only one who will notice, I had to accept along time ago that it's those little imperfections that make it unique.  I think you did a great job!!

P.S.  I once saw someone at the airport wearing a patchwork skirt made this way and it was super cute.
