What is the pattern or stitch called?  It looks like stained glass!

It's a free pattern from Bernat that I got off Ravelry. It's just called Afghan #3663. I love the stained glass look, too!

He was a birthday gift for my son and I was pretty proud of myself because I made up the pattern as I went along.

I love those stripey mitts! And the shawlette is gorgeous. I had a dream last night that I learned to knit. Maybe it's a sign!

Oh, wow, I just realized that I forgot topost this great Han Solo card I got from Tamalama! Here it is:



It has these big sparkly beads glued on it. Very spacey!

Too many awesome ATC's to comment on them all! I love the Hiro card and Wrigley Field and the effect on the Bill card is amazing! I'm going to have to try that technique for myself since I'm not that great at portraiture either. I don't know who Crookshanks is, but the illustration is adorable!

I got an awesome ATC from ThreadOrYarn yesterday. It's like the "G" section of an Ewok-to-English dictionary!



I like Star Wars, but whoever took the time to create an Ewok language gets the superfan award!

I needed some yarn for my granny circle blanket and since it was just a little tiny bit I didn't want to buy any so I asked a friend. She sent me home with a huge bag of yarn! More stash.
I'm looking on the bright side though. I can use the free yarn to make things and sell them: 100% profit! So this is the baby blanket I made with the many skeins of pale yellow and white in the bag and some blue I had on hand. It looks like buttered popcorn to me!
