1  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / 2 toddler dresses on: January 19, 2011 08:36:05 PM
I made these two dresses for my God daughter. I'm working on a little stack here:) Thanks for looking!

2  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / Toddler Dresses on: January 09, 2011 11:37:43 PM

These are a couple of dresses I made for my cousin's little girls. I took a t from Old Navy, changed the buttons to red star buttons and added houndstooth ruffles. I appliqued the famous Paul Bear Bryant hat on the top and handstitched with red floss and added a tiny red bow.
3  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / Simple summer jumper turned precious holiday outfit on: December 22, 2010 06:01:20 PM

I found this plain, summerish jumper in a bag, I knew my son wouldn't be able to wear it for much longer so I decided to turn it into something he could wear for Christmas. I purchased this for just a few bucks at a consignment shop.
I had some fusible quilt batting and I turned the two fusible sides together and heated it. It turned into a good sturdy layer for me to cut out the snowman's body. I got the idea of how he should look from some wrapping paper. I added details with felt and hand-stitched around the design onto the jumper.

4  CLOTHING / Costumes: Completed Projects / First Project Posted; Mermaid and Lil'RedRidingHood costumes on: December 19, 2010 11:20:32 PM
I made these costumes for Halloween for me and my bf, she was little red riding hood and I was a mermaid. Little red riding hood was based on a pattern and the mermaid loosely based on a pattern. The mermaid was made from satin, and a metallic stretch fabric. I made the back corset style because I am scared of zippers!
