Ya, um...so this Wednesday, on our half day at school, I'm finally gonna go see the new Harry Potter movie ::fan girl squee of some sort:: ya, so I have made a spiffy quidditch charm bracelett  out of sculpey clay.  I was suspose to have two brooms...but um....one broke...because it was too thin because I accidentally flew it into a wall during an intense game of quidditch in my backyard...ya...ok..

Sorry about the picture, anythign can be scanned..sort of..ya...

4  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Confetti is my best friend..hehe on: November 09, 2005 06:12:35 PM
Oh, man...one day my dad came home with TONS of craft supplies,  (a crafter's dream).  Literary BAGS FULL of pompoms, pipecleaners, felt, random things, stickers, stanmps..flowers, stuffs..and CONFETT!!!!!!!! I was wondering what I could do with all this confetti...and I had been making awhole bunch of earings lately....I had bought some earings with conffetti on them...and some of this confetti had holes in them...well I can sort of do math and I decided to turn them into various earings! YAY!

However, as I do not like digital cameras due to their prices and my..well...love fro crafting (a.k.a...procastination) I scanned my earings...the colors do not show up as good as really life...The circle one are two different disks, one black, the other sparkly red...and well, I guess those are the only ones that are really hard to see...ya, I'll stop talking now..

My dad had found a bead kit with easter beads in them while he was cleaning.  In it there were those two duckie beads and two earings..I put some beads on wire and then added teh duckie beads.  Originally, they wee orange and didn't quite match the whole black and blue thing, so I painted them with acrylic black paint and then painted the beaks and eyes blue.  I really love them and will most likely wear them, even though I'm alergic to the earings.... enjoy!
6  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Misc. Gift Idea Brain Blockage / A spiffy idea on: April 20, 2005 04:19:22 PM
Hi, my mom's birthday is commin up and this is what I made for her.  I don't have a lot of money, so I needed some kind of craft that'll look good.

First, I always save those merrichino (sp?) cherry jars 'cuz they look cool.  I also have this spiffy peel and stick-on transparent paint that is used for making little "cling-ons" for windows.  I got some in a kit for some holiday and the rest at some yard sale.  I took this paint and put it on the glass jars and it came out AWESOME!!!! It's like stained glass.

I then found a pretty victorian cat picture and glued it on the jar once it was painted; my mom loves cats.  It came out really nice.

I would post a pic, but I don't know where the camera is..... or how to use it and the program only works on theupstairs computer that does not have a screen...so ya...

But I hope this can help people with gift ideas.  You can use the jars for holding things such as pens and random stuffs.
