11  Girl's fall outfit in Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects by littledoe on: October 18, 2005 08:48:20 AM
I just sewed this for my daughter's upcoming 7th birthday.  The skirt was very easy.

Black cord with cherries.  The back of the skirt is elasticized.

Red anti-pill microfleece.

12  Summer boy's shirt and girls & ladies dresses in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by littledoe on: June 20, 2005 09:31:38 AM
I've been sewing up a storm lately.

Here are 3 of my kids and myself modelling our latest clothes.

Simplicity 4996

Simplicity 4613

Butterick 3475.  This is the most complicated piece I've sewn, to date.

13  Indian Tunic in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by littledoe on: April 21, 2005 08:41:52 AM
Made using Simplicity pattern 4609. I didn't get a pic of the side, but the bottom side has a V notch trimmed in the same neckline trim.

This was a fun project to make, but the fabric was a little difficult (stretchy and slippery).   I got it at a local Indian fabric store.

There are also some minor mistakes, like only having white seam binding for the arm holes, so you can see it when I turn certain ways.  I'm also now seeing that the neck is uneven.

It's my second clothing project and first shirt!

14  Re: Show me your craft "room"!! in Interior Decorating: Completed Projects by littledoe on: February 14, 2005 03:16:45 PM
This is my first post on craftster!  Here is the table/centre my bf built for me in our computer/hobby room.  I just had to have it hot pink to counteract all the manliness in the room.
