351  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Discussion and Questions / is there anyway to cut a clay pot? on: February 26, 2005 12:43:19 PM
so i have this crafty decorating idea which i hope to make my first craftster finished product post but it would involve cutting a terra cotta pot in half. anyone know if this is possible...and if it is possible, would it be really hard (i'm too clutzy for power tools)?
thanks a bunch
352  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Discussion and Questions / binding basics...any suggestions? on: February 13, 2005 09:31:10 PM
i'm new to craftser and have noticed a lot of talk about binding journals yourselves. i've always been big on decorating store bought journals and notebooks but i'd like to start binding them, making them from scratch. where do i start? i've read about coptic, japanese stab, pamphlet, etc. (i don't even know if i have the names right) but i'm really overwhelmed. anyone got an easy way to bind for beginners?

i'm sorry if this has been posted already but i was having problems with the search thing.

thanks a lot!
353  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Discussion and Questions / Re: This is sorta embarassing to ask but... on: February 13, 2005 05:59:42 PM
please please please please please do not shave your facial hair. if you are a female, shaving facial hair will look awful. i wouldn't count on a homemade remedy. if you find one, please share it with the world. you could make millions. waxing is best. you could try bleaching it. stay away from nair. but really, wax it. you can find at home kits for cheap at wal-mart.
