ooh, i just bought a big tube of E6000 because everyone on craftster's been raving about it and now i have nothing to glue. gemstones to shoes actually sounds like a really cute idea.

where did you get the pattern? it's beautiful. i'm not a knitter but my mom is and i'd love to have her make one for me but neither of us are familiar with rowan. is this a us-only brand?

as soon as i saw that i thought "crafty chica!". if you like those images you should check out craftychica.com, she's got lots more day of the dead crafts there. i think her husband does the art. anyway, she's fabulous and your tin is great. i love anything day of the dead. you need to show some photos of your kitchen, it sounds interesting.

so i'm writing a novel and finally have a room in my house that i can make a writing room. i have big plans for this room and intend to make it the perfect space to write. what decor/items/paintings/colours/themes/etc. would you suggest for the ultimate room of one's own.

emilyflew: usually i'm not a fan of black tattoos but after staring at yours for a little while (not to sound creepy, but your tattoos do take a little staring to fully take in) i have to say they are awesome. so different, unique. love them.
