Thank you guys so much it was fun making it. This is what it looks like on...but I have to wear a belt to hold it up...looks nice with a belt I think. Its so heavy because of the polyester ties, it kinda slides right down your hips.
So by NO means is this my idea...There are TONS of different tie skirts and jean tie skirts I like to thank all those who inspired my skirt....It was my first one so I used a pair of jeans too big for me, so I'll be selling this one. I hope I can find as cool of ties for my next one! Thanks fellow craftsters the front and the back
My husband and I are entering our gardening work from Austin,Tx. He IS the creator and I am the "go-to gal". I do have my fair share of creating but mainly pots. Please enjoy and tell us what you think. Here are pictures of veggie and herb gardens, and just some different ladscaping around. Some of the pictures are of the begining of spring, and then now summer time. Close up of some pots close-ups of zinnias and Texas Star hibiscus...my favs... some amaranth, purslane... and morning glory and hyacinth bean a swallowtail on zinnia.....and a caterpillar on some fennel bumblebee on an artichoke........and a chianti sunflower thats so red it looks black couldn't leave out the black currant tomatoes
So I had to try this out and didn't use a clear pair of shoes, plus I left the top alone...maybe I should cover it too, but since the tops not very hard like the bottom of the shoes I wasn't sure if it would wrinkle or stuff when I walked. But for now I still like them, and will do another pair when I get the RIGHT pair of shoe. I just used a favorite pair that are all scuffed up where I could cover them...jsut to try it out. But they didn't come out too bad. I also used triple thick glass glaze to cover them and protect them from any weather or water that I may come across. Here they are...thanks for the inspiration
So I was married in Jamaica, on 4-1-2006, and I collected some shells and such while I was there in a few different beaches, mainly ones with little holes so I could spruse up a little Jamaican hanging light thingy I got from some of the "crafters" on the beaches. I instantly thought it would look nice as a chime(its made out of a sea bean)for a crafty wedding something, I could make for myself, as a reminder of that time. Well, I finally made it and thought I would share it cause I luv it. here it is with its friends on my porch
