1  UNITED STATES / Connecticut / Stich 'n Bitch New London on: July 30, 2006 01:38:31 PM
For anyone out there interested, there's a Stitch 'n Bitch group in New London:  http://groups.yahoo.com/group/newlondonknitcrochet/

We actually meet in Waterford on Saturdays from about 10 am to noon (sometimes later) at the Borders Bookstore in the Waterford Commons.  We'd love to see some new folks join us sometime!   Grin
2  KNITTING / Projects from the Stitch 'N B**ch Books by Debbie Stoller / Hot Head x2 on: March 02, 2006 12:13:16 PM
I made these a while ago and haven't posted them here yet, so I figured I would!  I made these for two of my former co-workers.  Last weekend I made one for my boyfriend's son and he loves it (but I don't yet have a photo of him in it!)

This one was made from Renyolds Lopi wool, double stranded for extra warmth.

This one was made from Lamb's Pride Bulky (Sunburst Gold), Lamb's Pride Worsted double stranded (Christmas Green), and Renyolds Lopi (red).

And wouldn't you know that someone just requested that I make a hat like the one in the second picture (same exact colors) this week and two weeks ago I GAVE AWAY the extra yarn because I figured I'd never use it!  Dang it!
