81  NEEDLEWORK / Sublime Stitching Embroidery / Re: Transfering onto Dark Fabrics on: June 02, 2005 04:02:14 AM
I did the same thing with stablizer and it worked pretty well-ripping it off required tweezers at some points and if you are impatient like me you can tear a stitch or two.  I'm curious how stitching through the tissue goes, if you try it will you let us know?

Wow, that looks great!  How did you keep the lines so straight?  Did you make guide lines on the hem??
85  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Re: 4 New Bags Fresh Off the SINGER!! on: May 30, 2005 09:48:25 AM
I have that same green spotted fabric in three different colors from Walmart and I wanted to use it for a purse but I was worried it might be too bright-now I can see how great it came out!!  Thanks for sharing.

88  NEEDLEWORK / Sublime Stitching Embroidery / Re: What kind of patterns come with the Stitch-It Kit? on: May 30, 2005 09:30:43 AM
There is definitely a full alphabet with numbers, but that is just the beginning.  It's a great sample of Jenny's creativity, hula stuff, fruits, kitties, guitars, banners, skulls, tattoo flashy pattersn.  I highly recommend it !!

90  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: Yet another Pin-Up Girl, but I'm proud of it anyway. on: May 29, 2005 06:30:25 PM
Thanks for the compliment Queen-I've uploaded a few of my favorites so you can see them.  My library also has some of the Dover Series, which you can borrow and then copy the cdrom for nothing.   But I think I have bought about ten of them anyway...I'm a bit of a hoarder.

These are kind of small, I didn't save the larger tif files to my hard drive and I am too lazy to walk downstairs and get the book.  Undecided Anyway, they should give you an idea-some are so random and bizarre.  I think the last one would be great for a t-shirt.
