Sounds fun! I'll do it if I have time! Sure hope so!
Is it ok to make something in natural colors? Like greens and blues?

I hope you do!

Yep, if that is how nature inspires you, go for it!

Awesome!!!

5  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Re: Pattern help please!!! on: March 12, 2011 12:05:35 PM
I haven't been on this website in forever!

The author of the pattern said that the weight of the matieral should weigh it down enough to stretch it out.

I am using 3 strands of Red Heart worsted weight yarn.

My mother has a fugifilm S2800 HD camera. She is trying to take some pictures of the northern lights, but she can't seem to get the settings right. She is unsure about the frames per second and shutterspeed. I'm not sure if the settings for it are different than many other cameras. Anyone know what the frames per second should be set at? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks so much!!!

I thought putting it in the washer felts it? Or is that just on hot temperature?

I'm so confused!  Huh
I'm crocheting a coat (http://www.naturallycaron.com/projects/st_petersburg/st_petersburg_1.html) for my mother. She wears a medium. The part I've done so far fits her perfectly. But the height between her armpit and shoulder is much taller than the pattern. I was thinking of adjusting the height of the shoulders, but then I realized that I would have to change the sleeves as well. Any ideas? Would it work if I just changed the sleeves to a large? HELP PLEASE!!  Undecided

Also, anyone know how to wash home-made projects?

Thanks!!!

Thanks for the info! I was thinking of putting an ad in the newspaper, but it costs money and I'm in a financial rut (just using yarn I already have). Then I thought etsy, but I have to crochet lots of things first. Plus that isn't loal per say. Someone mentioned Craigslist and I might try that, but I don't know. I was also thinking put ads in store entryways, but not sure if people really look at those. I'm trying to figure another way. I do like the idea of wearing it. Look book/price book is better. Someone mentioned craft fairs and markets, but I don't know how to find out about those.
