1  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Cedar's Trellis Cardi on: March 20, 2007 01:58:51 PM
This is for my friend's brand-spankin'-new baby, Cedar.  I got the pattern from Knitty, and it's called Trellis.  I haven't put buttons on it yet, but I still think it's pretty cute!

2  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Turtle Snake, yes....you read right on: March 16, 2007 10:27:06 AM
There is, of course, a long story that goes along with this, but I think we can all just appreciate a turtle snake for what it is...

It's a combo:  Sheldon & Kimberly Chapman's snake.
3  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Ghetto Band-aid...This is how much my husband loves me. on: February 02, 2007 01:31:50 PM
I thought that my husband was so crafty that I had to post.  I cut myself and we didn't have any band-aids...this is what he came up with.  If anyone needs a tutorial, I would be happy to post one:-)

4  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Daisy Cardigan from Knitty on: February 02, 2007 08:02:02 AM
I just made this for my friends little one... Hope you like...

5  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Sheldon The Turtle!! on: January 27, 2007 11:46:13 AM
Oh my goodness!  This turtle is so damn cute and soft I don't want to give it away!  Pattern is from this issue of Knitty.

6  KNITTING / Knitalongs / Debbie Bliss Boat Neck Aran?? From Cathay Book? on: June 09, 2006 11:51:34 AM
Has anyone made this??  Want to make this??  I just cast on the other day.  The pattern is a lot of fun, but a little difficult to follow without a chart.  If you want to make it, let me know...I've made charts!

Here's a link to the pattern:

Also, a picture of my progress so far:

7  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Knit & Tonic's Dream Swatch on: June 09, 2006 08:15:52 AM
I just finished the Dream Swatch.  It knit up quickly with some left over Lorna's Laces in the Safari colorway.  Now I know what to do with the other tiny balls of LL's left over from socks!!  (it used hardly any yardage)

8  KNITTING / Knitalongs / Fad-Classic by Knit & Tonic, anyone?? on: April 13, 2006 09:22:53 AM
I've just cast on for this.  Anyone else game?
9  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Textured Coat--Interweave Knits--Fall 2005 on: March 13, 2006 03:48:47 PM
Has anyone else made this?  I've finally finished the guage swatch (size 6 needles instead of 8's!), and started knitting the body.  Just wondering if anyone else finds this a tuff pattern on the fangers???  It's incredibly time consuming and it hurts!  Also, it looks like what they say is the wrong side is really the right side?  Anyone else?
10  KNITTING / Knitalongs / KAL for Stephanie Japel's Forecast in the new Knitty??? on: December 10, 2005 09:15:02 AM
I cannot wait to sink my knitting needles into this project!  Is anyone else up for it???
