101  CLOTHING / Sewing Pattern Reviews / Re: Butterick 3634: very old, very very easy on: April 01, 2005 11:34:23 AM
This pattern is exactly what I've been looking for!  I can't sew unless it is really easy.  This looks like my speed.  And so cute!  Would you possible think of selling just the outline of what needs to be cut out?  On cheap fabric or on tracing paper?  I could pay you or do something in trade?  I'm a knitting and embroidery fool!  Let me know.

103  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Re-creating an old dress? on: February 18, 2005 04:45:30 AM
This is my first time posting, and I've only been sewing for a VERY short time. I bought this great old (very simple) dress at the Garment District.  Unfortunately, it is so old that the fabric is knubby and practically see-through.  I would love to buy some new fabric and make a new one using this old one as a pattern.  Do any of you have any advice?Huh?  Thanks muchly.
