yesterday I got a great package from capnstubtooth! she decided to go with a book theme, which I though was fantastic!
I've just got a group shot, my internet is so slow, I think it would throw a fit if I tried uploading more right now!

two awesome bookmarks, in use already!
a mini journal. seriously, these things are like crack to me, can never have enough! capnstubtooth said she tried out a new craft for this swap and I guess this it is, it is REALLY well made! I'm impressed
a tardis needlebook! I find it awesome we both sent each other needlebooks! I love this one, it is super cool, and full of needles already!

This was such a great swap, thank you capnstubtooth for being such a great partner!! =)

5  my baby bro's first go! in Needlework: Completed Projects by honeybone on: February 05, 2012 02:48:13 AM
Tonight I was just going to make a wee embroidery to keep me occupied, I had just started, cut out a wee felt critter and done a few stitches, then put it down to cook dinner.
A few minutes later my baby bro picks it up (I say baby, but gosh he is 17 now!) and starts stitching. I decide not to say anything, as I didn't want to draw attention to it or embarrass him. So I crept up and took a photo instead!

I told him if he wanted it could be his, and that I would teach him a few more stitches, a couple of hours later we have this!

I'm really proud of him, he did running stitch applique, backstitch aaaaaaaaand satin stitch and french knots! Sorry this photo sucks, I wish I could take a better one to show off my little mans skills!

6  rainbow french knot curse word in Needlework: Completed Projects by honeybone on: February 01, 2012 03:12:35 AM
So, I just learned to french knot, and inspired by mezcraft's awesome french knot work I decided to do something myself.
I love rainbows, and I love swearing, so I made this...

Some of the knots are a bit messy, and the colouring changes direction after the first letter. but I am still really damn proud of it, and it didn't even take me too long! Now I want to do ALL my favourite curse words!! =D

7  a colourful little girl in Needlework: Completed Projects by honeybone on: January 18, 2012 11:18:05 PM

I am still a really novice embroiderer, but I have a hell of a lot of fun doing it! I adapted a picture I found online. Even though she is a bit wonky I am really happy with her, I think she is a total cutie! I learnt how to french knot for this piece, for her buttons and eyes, you can see my practice ones in the corner!
Hope you all enjoy, and would love feedback =)

I thought I would post a couple of pictures of what I sent to teaspoons and tiaras. I don't have pictures of the third item though!

Brooches from one of her favourite songs, I am really happy with how they turned out.

I spent a looooooooong day at the hospital today, getting the operation on my cervix! Not very fun, but I am now over my huge fear of operations, woohoo!
I received my massive box yesterday, my god everything kicks ass.
Group shot!

A lovely silky robe, it fits beautifully and is so comfortable! It will be perfect for summer which down here is just starting, two tile coasters with a pin up girl and a sexy tattoo'd girl in the bath, much too pretty to put my drinks on, will have to find a way to attach them to the wall!! A pencil drawing of a pin up girl, teaspoons and tiaras has mad art skills! This girl is gorgeous! I plan on cutting off the rough edge and putting her in a frame. A polymer clay pin up girl necklace, this is sooo cute! And the item I requested, which T&T had already made for me, polyclay vagina earrings, with pearl clits!! Can't wait to wear these out, would I be TOO gay if I wore them with my unicorn earrings?  Tongue
And that is just the crafted stuff! Non crafted extras are 'diva' magazine, a UK lesbian mag which is really interesting and great for the waiting room! two really cute cards I don't want to send to anyone, want to stick them on my wall! And a little lipstick vibrator! It is so cute, but I am sure anyone who knows me will get suspicious about my carrying lipstick around! Can't wait until my body is healed so I can give it a whirl!

And a close up of the two jewellery pieces. I just need to say again how much I love these earrings!! ARRGGHHH amazing I love them I love them so much.

I have had so much fun with this swap! Thank you ecopp for organizing this, all you awesome girls with our crazy chatter and OF COURSE THANK YOU AGAIN TEASPOONS AND TIARAS for being the best partner ever and making such fantastic loot for me. I hope yours arrives soon and it lives up to the high standard of absolutely everything in this swap so far!

(if you guys can't tell, I am terribly excited about my package!!)
