1  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / So is Spunmag.com dead in the water or what? on: April 03, 2006 07:07:38 AM
Anyone know what's up with SpunMag?  It says the next issue was to be out in March, but nothing's changed.
2  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Opinions, please. on: March 16, 2006 05:17:14 PM
This is an oddly crafty/not-so-crafty question.  I have a knitting blog right now on Blogspirit and I want to change to another host.  Who do you use and why?  There are so many hosts out there I'm having trouble deciding.  So I figured I'd enlist the help of my peeps out in Craftster-land.

3  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Ok. Now I'm miffed - Knitty's Crusoe socks, anyone else made these? on: January 08, 2006 09:30:44 PM
I just got almost all the way through (1/2 way through the gusset decreases)  the Crusoe socks from Knitty.com and decided to try them on.  Ok.  I know I have wide feet, but they were too tight.  Waaaaaaaaaay too tight.  I used Fleece Artist Merino and I was even getting a larger gauge, and they were TOO TIGHT!!!  Had to frog the whole thing.

Now.  Do I feel like starting again and adapting them to the "right" size?  Never mind that I had to mentally correct the heel turning instructions, its beautiful yarn and I like the pattern....grrrrrr. Angry
4  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / It's here! It's here! on: October 17, 2005 06:21:29 PM

I am looking for a pattern to knit an armadillo.  3-d not charted.  I'll buy it if need be, but I need an armadillo.
6  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Anyone know whats up with Spun? on: September 15, 2005 05:16:43 PM

7  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Will someone PUH-LEAZE be my hero? on: August 25, 2005 05:46:34 PM

8  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Mmmmm...silky... on: August 12, 2005 08:25:09 PM
So I was poking around in my stash/yarn room tonight and came upon about 400 yards of pure silk worsted weight.  I think I want to make something with it for my bestest friend, who just moved to Las Vegas.  I know, hard life, huh?  But we've been friends for at least 20 years and she's like a sister, and even though she moved less than a month ago I miss her already.

Anyhoo..back to topic.  Couldja all please raid your knitting pattern archives and help me figure out what to do with this yarn?  Please?

10  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Cookie Monster Please? on: June 30, 2005 09:30:27 AM
I need a picture of Cookie Monster.  Preferrably in color, but b&w would work too.

Anyone know where I can find one?
