Oh I love this.  The owl is in my favorite color.  Great job, your fabric choices are fantastic!  I love the floral.

I came in here to say exactly these things. Smiley  Awesome job, woo owls!

This is really gorgeous. My grandmother used to do all sorts of this kind of stuff, so it's really nostalgic for me because we have it all over our house. Definitely itching to try it out now...

I like this a lot! Now you've got me wanting to try too. This is great for a first go.
9  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: "Oh bother..." said Pooh. on: May 26, 2010 04:55:23 PM
The Tao of Pooh was one of the first books I read from my parents' "grown-ups" bookshelf. One of my faves. This is really lovely. I love the "crayon" effect, too.
10  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: French Knot Monograms (Plus one more embroidery) on: May 20, 2010 08:33:24 AM
Beautiful! I love the color variation in the monograms. It's very 3D with the french knots and I would love to hang this on my wall!
