just started my lucky today.  I have never knit lace before and I'm really excited to see how the whole thing turns out!  Hopefully I'll have it done for the start of school in the fall... there's nothing better than a nice fall jacket. Not too hot, not too cold.

anyway, I had a bit of a question about the sizing.  I've got a 36 inch bust paired with a 28 inch waist and hips.  (no but to speak of.  )I decided to make the size small (to fit size 36 bust) so that it wouldn't be too terribly loose in the tummy area.  For those who've completed a lucky, does it fit fairly loose?  will i be able to fit a t-shirt between my boobs and the cardigan?

I got my package from taped_on_wings today and I am BLOWN AWAY!!! 

I got

1) a Death wallet which is gorgeous (I love black and white... it matches everything!
2) an awesome butterfly pendant
3) *adorable* l'il delirium magnets
4) a "following my fishie" key chain (it went directly onto my keys!)  SO CUTE!!!
5) the most AMAAAAAAAZING box, shaped like a book with a gorgeous painting of Dream on it.

I AM IN AWE!!!!!

It's really a shame that I have no camera to show you guys the stuff.  It is truly awesome.  I only hope that my package holds a candle to yours, honey.

PS: are the magnets made of that shrinkey dink stuff?  Where do you get that at?  they look so fun!

I got mine the other day, and it was so gorgeous!  I was definately jealous of my complete lack of drawing skills... (when it comes to drawing, I have shaky hands, so I tried to make up for a lack of decoration with a bonus CD instead.)

speaking of which, I found said bonus cd in my computer the other day.  I think my little brother stuck it in to listen to it without telling me and i sent of the empty case without knowing.  I'm hoping I had maybe stuck the "original" (also a copy) in there on accident, but I have no clue.  Jadey?  Did you get an empty case?  If so, let me know!  If I don't hear from you by the end of this week, (week of June 20th) then I'll go ahead and send it to you anyway.

wow, what an intense thread!  I'm a student at the University of Illinois so we have a subset of this debate going on all the time about the Chief.  I've never been able to understand the pro-Chief arguement: "We don't mean for it to be offensive."  As if the rich white folks who run the university could actually decide what is offensive and what isn't for the rest of us...  They've also taken to saying "The Chief is not a mascot."  But then conveniently not telling us what exactly he is then.  What could he be that could be less offensive?  "Half-time entertainment?"  That seems almost worse, like a war-prisoner being trotted out in front of the masses or something. 

The students on campus are split 50-50 on the issue, but since most of our allums are rich, conservative big-wigs (to be fair, the allums of most universities are like this) who are nostalgic about watching the Chief dance at football games, it seems that he is here to stay for a while yet...  Despite the fact that he brings the University nothing but negative press.

Anyway, thanks for the intellectual stimulation, guys!

so awesome!  I have a couple of kimonos that I bought for use as formal wear but I haven't as yet grown a pair big enough to actually wear them out somewhere.  Amazing!
