knittinghelp.com has videos on the Continental style. It's actually the lady's preferred way of knitting. I started doing it yesterday. Having the yarn in my left hand feels really awkward right now but I can already tell I'm going to be a faster knitter with it. Which is a good thing because I'm doing a blanket for my brother and I am SO BORED WITH IT! hehe.

This is Simplicity 5499. It's the only purse in the pattern - the rest are clothes.

I hope I'm putting this post in the right spot. I have just begun to crochet now so I decided I needed a "roll-your-own-HOOK" case. Hope you like it.

All you people here at Craftster have inspired me to start sewing a lot more. I did these two bags using a pattern from Simplicity and really liked the way they turned out. My fave is the orange and green one. I actually made it for my friend but had to go back and get more fabric to make my own.

Walmart or Micheals - or you can get a purse at a second hand store and take the clasp out of it

I'm jealous, my Walmart doesn't have them! I finally found them (for $3 a clasp might I add) at Hobby Lobby. I'm definitely going to have to find a cheaper place next time I make one a purse. I'll have to check out Michael's next time I'm there.

I think this one is awesome because OurJuliet really customized it to hold exactly what she needed and didn't make each pocket the exact same size.

I haven't made one (although I think they're a GREAT idea). I have so many purses and all of them are such different shapes that I think I'd have a hard time making a purseket that fit them.
