21  my first 2 bags in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by t1g3rl1ly on: April 04, 2005 10:44:37 PM
All you people here at Craftster have inspired me to start sewing a lot more. I did these two bags using a pattern from Simplicity and really liked the way they turned out. My fave is the orange and green one. I actually made it for my friend but had to go back and get more fabric to make my own.  Cheesy

Let me know if you like them.

I think next time I make one I'll put a pocket inside

22  Re: come one! come all! post pics of your tattoos! in Bath and Beauty: Completed Projects by t1g3rl1ly on: February 28, 2005 10:22:03 PM
Here's my first one (I'm gonna get it filled in soon...the guy didn't do a great job) This is on my left shoulder...

and here's my second one (it's on my right shoulder)

Some other people commented that they sometimes forget about their tattoos. I do the same thing! Sometimes I  get out of the shower and see them in the mirror and I'm like wow! I kind of wish I had put them someplace more visible, because I don't wear spaghetti strap tank tops too often. Oh well... Smiley

Hey I made up this pattern.  I got inspired by SnB, but aliens aren't my thing.

24  Re: illusion knitting in Knitting: Discussion and Questions by t1g3rl1ly on: February 08, 2005 10:09:45 PM
I got inspired by S&B, but I'm not into aliens either, so I made up my own snowflake design.  If anyone wants the pattern, email me and I can send it to you.  I made it in Excel, so it's easily changeable if you want to add/remove something.

25  Re: cute storage for knitting needles in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by t1g3rl1ly on: February 08, 2005 09:46:37 PM
I used S&B's pattern to make my own needle case...i modified it a bit and added an extra pouch and flap near the bottom so I could keep my crochet needles in there too.  This was the first difficult sewing project I had ever done and the lines are SOOO crooked.  But that's ok, cuz I like it Smiley  I opened the flaps and folded it in half so you could see all the fabrics I used.
