I found these awesome day of the dead carved and painted skulls and made a few pairs of earrings from them.  They are a little large, 17mm but I still think they are ok size.  A little on the large size but they are so pretty i dont mind at all.

Thanks!

I was using an awl type thing, I have to go buy some more appropriate tools if i decide to continue making these types of earrings.

They are very light, the metal are just flat discs that weigh almost nothing and the leather is not heavy at all.

These are a new idea that i had the other day.  I was cutting up leather and i had some of these metal charms laying around so i decided to try and combining them.  I really really love these.  I dont know how to describe the feeling they give me sort of a natural aged elegance or something like that.

the holes took forever, im sure there is an easier way and now that i know i like them i will be looking into it.

So I made these a while ago but I have been loving them even more lately.  I think these glass beads are so pretty with the swirl inside.  The bead reminded me of the sky so that is why I added the stars underneath.

I actually made a pair with silver stars underneath instead but I was not feeling it.  For some reason the gold stars seem right to me.
