Kilgore Trout! He he. Not many people know who that is.

Beautiful painting, the colors are wonderful and the composition is beautiful. I like the incorporation of the playing cards. How big is it. Definitely art!

Ahhh I love it when people recognize it! My email is the asteroid(25399) dedicated to Vonnegut posthumously, no ones ever noted that, but I'm often seen as spam because of it.

Thank you so much! It's 16" X 20"

This is incredible. I know you posted this years ago, but I'd imagine you're still just as impressed with yourself every time you see it-- it would be a shame not to!

Wow I haven't been here in a few years... I've missed you Craftster!!!

Hi!!! This is a painting of my husbands natal chart. It's acrylic, glitter and gems on canvas 16" X 20"
I did it for his birthday. He's a Leo Sun/Moon, but they're both 8th house and he's got a Cap rising-- the most humble Leo that never roared... Hence the darker colors.

I wanted to say more but posting this took me an hour so I'll part now before I make it two. So good to see you again Craftster!

So good! If I wasn't allergic to metal I would be begging to buy one!

You are amazing. Brilliant, perfect, super-hero woman. You are the far-too-rare reason I like human beings.
8  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Valentine's Day / Re: a warhol-ish gift? on: February 07, 2011 01:29:17 PM
Oh my god no! This is so, so good! And you nailed it! That picture of you is perfect-- you even shifted the location of the spot of light in your eyes to the perfect spot so that you're making eye contact from the painting. Don't change it, and DO NOT think ANY bad thought on yourself! This is awesome! If you enjoyed it, you should absolutely make more, because you've got the skillllz!
9  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Discussion and Questions / Re: Whats Your favorite animal?? suggestions for needlepoint jewlery :) on: November 13, 2010 03:24:02 PM
My uber friend shouted out "Narwhal!!!" and me, not being anywhere near as cool as she is, has to answer honestly -- moles! I  love them! I actually have the chemical equation of a mole tattooed on me!
