dress--mccall's M5535---this is my most recent fave..wear over leggins...very comfy...good fit

shrug--new look 6559---this is a couple years old...have made at least 6 of these in different colors...fits a little snug but it's knit so that's ok

dress--new look 6185---also couple of years old...have made all 3 dresses in at least 5 different stretchy fabrics & the fit is great but the cotton fabric one was too snug under the bust so my lucky sister got it!

and my most used of all...pants--.simplicity 5562---this is about four years old & i have made dozens of these...long & short in every fabric you can imagine...they are a staple in my wardrobe!!!

6  CLOTHING / Clothing for Curvaceous Craftsters: Discussion and Questions / Re: HELP it doesn't fit but I love it on: October 14, 2010 10:20:14 AM
i have this problem all the time...my parts are like they come from two different people!!!...so if things fit one part the other parts are too small or too large! (sigh)
anyway, the tank & the cami are my friends...i don't like clothes that "fit"...i need to MOVE so to accommodate my ample (& southwardly wandering) boobs, i wear cami's or tanks under almost everything. i can wear a much more fitted top without the feeling of being hugged all day or allow that loose fitting top to flow & not show everybody all my goodies when i lean over!
the stretchy fit cami i wear under lighter fabrics & the ribbed tank i wear with more substantial fabric.
hope this gives you some ideas!

i don't have anything original to add...everybody has pretty much been affected with the tears & the sentiment but i just had to add my tears to the puddle.
love, love, love this idea. i have tons of buttons from my nana, among other sewing things & i am a sentimental fool so this is right up my alley!
thank you so much for sharing this with us
