12  Bag I Embelleshed in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by jshires on: May 30, 2006 10:35:25 PM
I got this device that makes snaps from my grandmother. I haven't figured out how it works, but it came with all these cool snap covers. So I did this with them:

This is my first post, so I hope the pic works and that I put it in the right place. Oh, and here's a close up:

Thanks for looking!

And sorry the pics are so big. I don't know how to resize them.

13  Re: Costume ideas, girl with shaved head in Halloween Costumes by jshires on: October 14, 2005 09:52:22 PM
That is so cool that you are supporting your mom! Reminds me of the last season of Sex and the City when Samantha was diagnosed w/ breast cancer. There was a touching scene when her hottie bf Smith and she shaved their heads together...anyway i digress

for costumes, you could go as Debra from Empire Records (Robin Tunney's character) It could even be a group theme if you had friends going out together (i mean the different characters from Empire) and it wouldn't be too expensive

another option could be zhoto zhaan, or blue, from farscape (sorry my dads a huge sci fi geek and i got hooked on that show a couple years ago...)anyway shes pretty awesome and bald but it would require a lot of make up I'll try to post a pic (sorry if it doesn't work)
