7  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Re: Cartoon Keepsake Boxes on: November 03, 2010 05:35:30 PM
I love them! The portraits of the characters are very detailed and accurate. People may buy these (myself included) at thirty dollars for the detail and usefulness. You may want to use larger boxes as people may be more apt to buy them at  a higher price. When you advertise them, be sure to point out the detail of the characters and neatness of the actual paint job.

Gather all the crafsters in your area to create a bunch of items, that way you can sell a variety of items. I'm sure there are plenty of warm-hearted people willing to help. Maybe you and some others could have a bake sale. If you have a recycling center near you, you can make a weekly trip there and donate what money you get for the items you were going to throw away.

I hope Cameron gets well soon. She sounds like a sweetheart.

Hm, thinking about it, you can probable donate teddy bears and baby blankets to the children's ward. I'm sure there are kids who could use a good snuggle.
