I received the other day! My partner is truly a fabulous and generous swapper. Seriously, I would partner with her in every swap.  Here is what she sent!

These freaking CUTE necklaces! I have mine in now and the girls do too! LOVE!

An adorable Peter Pan tsum hoop! Going on my wall!

My favorite treat at Disney Land has always been churros. From the first time I went when I was 7 years old all the way to (insert chosen age)! Now I can save money for my churro obsession lol!

An super cute countdown for our Disney Cruise later this year!

My favorite game is Kingdom Hearts and she sent this beautifully cut framed picture of Sora and his keyblade with heartless! So much win!

My favorite thing has got to be this awesome vinyl cut Disney and Starbucks themed travel mug! I don't think I even mentioned that I am a Starbucks barista! My boss kept trying to steal it from me today lol.

And here are some more extras!

My partner was/is the most kind and thoughtful partner.  Thank you so much Lindy!!

"SAAAAANNNNTTTAAAAAA!!!!!!!"   "The four food groups are candy, candy corn, candy canes, and syrup!" "I just like to smile! Smiling is my favorite!"

Yes, I'm one of those people lol.

Also, this spot is mine. I licked it.

My lovely partner is Thimbles71!
These are the lovely packages she sent!

Check out all of these adorable tags! They are from vintage cards and she made them fabric! Future Christmas ornaments!

This is my amazing day 1! These 2 adorable mug rugs and some cocoa! We r super Disnerds over here and I adore gingerbread people!

Day 2:
Super pretty pot holders! I love these! They are almost too pretty to use. Well, maybe I will use them to bake cookies ;-). And the cut birdie tag/ornament!

Day 3:
Super adorable green and cream cuffs! I love them! Thimbles, I feel really silly but the widest part goes over the hand right? Not up the arm?

Day 4:
Beautiful pouches! And they have fabulous Victorian prints on them! My youngest is trying to claim one and I'm in a serious debate on whether to let her have one or not.... they are too cute!

Day 5:
Oh my gosh, you guys! Thimbles made me a bonnet!! It's this beautiful soft goose grey color! These pictures don't do it justice. I will steam it out and get better photos later but here it is right now!

Day 6:
This fabulous mat for my table! I am in love with the silouettes!

Day 7:

A spinning kit! I've wanted to learn to spin for years! And this roving is just gorgeous! I'm blown away, Thimbles!

So I get home from my trip and what do I find? An errant package labeled day 7! I couldn't believe it but what a treat! It's a little scissors holder that I've had on my pinterest for a while. I love it!

Day 8:
A needle felting snowman kit! I have been wanting to learn felting for AGES! I've seen so many beautiful things felted and I've always wanted to learn to do it. Thank you so much for this sweet kit! The snowman is going to be fab!

I also got this sweet hoop of a little girl with balloons - my daughter's are in love! They keep trying to claim it for their room but I only have 2 other hoopla on MY wall.... and it's so cute!

Day 9:
Oh my goodness. These little tins are so adorable and my kids LOVE them! And the little ornaments! I'm having a hard time picking my favorite. Smiley Thimbles, my daughters think you are "the best maker, ever!" Their words. And it's true!

They have totally made it on the tree!

Day 10:

The most adorable cup of tea pin cushion and tea wallet! So, so stinkin' cute! And it will get tons of use (both!) Love!

Day 11:
The sweetest Christmas pillows! They perfectly match our living room (burgundy and cream) and are just beautiful. The angel is so sweet and I love the nativity! I will get much better photos when the explosion of Christmas wrap has been removed from most of the area lol

And, finally, Day 12 *sniff*:

Thimbles71 crocheted me the most beautiful scarf in cream and burgundy. It is so soft and looks like stained glass! This, I know, took forever to make and I am so grateful.

Thank you so much for being such a kind and considerate partner. These gifts are wonderful and such a treasure to open! Thank you, thank you!

9  Harry Potter Teesha Moore inspired bag in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by Audania1 on: August 13, 2015 02:57:09 PM
I created this bag for my partner in the One Awesome Harry Potter Thing swap a little bit ago.  I like the idea of Teesha Moore patches but I also like .... order.  Wink I made 16 embroidered patches for this bag, sewed the outside together and then lined it in the inside (with pockets), and added the strap. I loved it! It was really hard to send away.  Cheesy

Thanks for having a look!

Mini 12 Days of Christmas 2015

Its that time of year again!  Time to sign up for the MINI 12 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS SWAP!!!!  It may seem a bit early to some, but I love knowing theres a long crafting time.  Especially since this swap is on the bigger side and the holidays can be hectic so, starting early just makes things easier and stress free.
This is a swap for all you Craftsters out there who would like to do a Christmas/Holiday swap but, feel that the original 12 Days Of Christmas swap is too big for them.  Be sure to read everything through and that you understand it all. If you have any questions feel free to post them in this thread or send me a pm.

******  DUE TO THE SIZE AND NATURE OF THIS SWAP I WILL NOT BE ACCEPTING FIRST TIME SWAPPERS OR PEOPLE WHO REGULARLY SEND LATE. I will be checking everyones swap history to make sure that projects are going to be sent ON TIME. Nobody wants to receive a Christmas swap package in January. Even worse, nobody wants to be flaked on and it would be ridiculously hard to find a SWAP ANGEL at this time of year. I am going to be VERY firm on this so please do not send in a questionnaire if you have sent late more than 2 or 3 times in the last 2 years. If you feel you still want to try and send in a questionnaire that is ok, but just know that I may veto it and not accept you in this swap.

All ages allowed? 16 and over, regardless of your age make sure you have a way to the PO and the means to participate in this swap.

I reserve the right to deny any Craftster's entrance into this swap for any reason including the following...
-ANY "negative" feedback and/or comments
-poor communication in past swaps
-consistently sending late in past swap
-I am NOT accepting first time swappers
Note: I will also leave feedback reflecting your actual participation in the swap (good/poor communication, early/late sending, etc)

Swap Organizer himself/herself meets these conditions:
- Has fully read the Swap Info Guide: YES
- Has successfully completed two swaps as a participant: YES
- Is not organizing more than three swaps right now: YES
- Will recruit a co-organizer or give all details to a Swap Moderator if this swap has more than 25 participants: YES

- If within the US, understands that Delivery Confirmation number is required for this swap: YES
- If outside the US, understands that a mailing receipt copy is required for this swap: YES

Details of swap:

The idea of this swap is to craft for your partner 12 items based on their interests, going along with the idea of the 12 Days Of Christmas song. The items that you make DO NOT have to be the items in the 12 days of Christmas song. The items sent/received can be BOTH everyday items and Christmas/Winter themed goodies. You will be making 2 large, 4 medium and 6 smalls for a total of 12 days. This is a bare minimum of larges and mediums. If you wish to make more larges and mediums than smalls, that is perfectly fine as long as you consult your partner. It stinks is you work super hard on your projects and all you receive is a lot of smalls in return so PLEASE dont do that to yourself and just talk to your partner!

A really nice way to do it is start with smalls and then lead up to the larges. Also, its worth noting that if you are sending food items then maybe they should be opened the first couple of days so they dont go bad.

So, the break down can be:
DAYS BREAKDOWN:
Days 1-6 small
Days 7-10 medium
days 11-12 large

You are not relegated to this particular order if you want to change it up. This is just how it has been done in the past. If you are making large wearable item, you may also want to have them open it early so they can use it through the season.

In the past round it was 75% crafted items & 25% store bought.
(extras are optional and are solely up to you.)

Below are Craftster guidelines for size requirements to help everyone. If you are having troubles with a certain size feel free to make an equivalent to the particular size. For instance, instead of a medium, you could look at the guidelines and substitute the 1 medium for perhaps 2 or 3 smalls. Just be sure to look at the guidelines and use your best judgment. Put yourself in your partners shoes and ask yourself if you think you would be happy with the equivalent of the items they choose. And, if in doubt, you can always send a pm to me and get a second opinion, and if youre still in doubt, ask another person in this swap. Here are the guidelines:

By Time
-Large = 3 or more hours
-Medium = 2 or more hours
-Small = 2 or less hours

By Price
-Large = $30 or more
-Medium = $10-$30 dollars
-Small = $10 or less

By Size
-Large = A shawl, a shirt, a skirt, a set of jewelry with four to five items, a purse, DIY kits, blankets, bags, totes, cable knitted items, place mat sets, cable leg warmers, pretty knit socks, kitchen set of potholders/apron, set of embellished dish towels.
-Medium = one single necklace or bracelet, a scarf, wrist warmers, thread catcher, note card set, hats, magic yarn ball, embroidered pillow case, apron, stencil shirts.
-Small = Earrings, stickers, wallets, pouches, bookmarks, hand carved stamps, coasters, pot holder, key chain, dish clothes, decorated frames, journals, head bands, pincushion, heat packs.

Please note-these are just ideas of crafts to make.  I have potholders in the small category.  However, if you make an intricate one with lots of pieces or an embroidered one, it could also count as a medium, or if you make a set of 4 that could be considered medium too.  I just put it in the small category because I was thinking of one simple potholder.  So, please use your best judgment with sizes.  You can always ask my opinion or another swappers opinion if you want.  I think the most important thing is to put yourself in the receivers shoes Would you be happy receiving a simple potholder as a small item?  Would you be happy if your large item was a cabled scarf?  Anyways..

Note:  In the past there has been slight confusion on how to label packages.  So just to make it clear the first package you want your partner to open, you label as #1.  Then for the 2nd package you want them to open youd label #2 the second and so on.  So, #12 package would be the last package opened.  You can also label them by dates, as in put 'DEC 14th' on the first gift your partner will open then the last gift would be labeled DEC 25th.  Either way you want to label them is fine.  Just make sure that the small gifts are opened first and the last gifts opened are the large.

The RULES:
1. You must send ALL PM's to Audania1 and all PM's must have the subject line: Mini 12 Days of Christmas 2015 with either "questionairre", "sent", "received" in it.

2. You must post in the original thread at least once a week! This starts once partners are assigned. That is only about 10 posts. I know some people dont like to post/check in. So Im going to make it fun for everyone. As every Monday I will post a simple question. It may be "What is your favorite Christmas song?" Mine is "Mary, Did you Know?" by the Pentatonix. All you do is answer the question and say one of the following: a) still crafting, b) done crafting or c) mailed items

3.PM's must be sent to Audania1 and your partner when you send and receive. If you are sending within the USA or Canada you must get a DC# / tracking # and send it to Audania1 and your partner. If you are sending outside of your country, you must keep your receipt as proof of shipping, it will be requested if there are any problems! This is mandatory!

4. When you open each days package, you will then need to post in the gallery. I ask that you post pictures within a reasonable amount of time. I know that the Holiday season can be quite hectic, but please get them posted within 5 days of opening. Posting pictures is a requirement for this swap! If you don't have a digital camera and cannot get access to one, please ask your partner to take pictures before they send.

5. The following items are NOT allowed in swap packages:
- Anything that is illegal in the U.S. or wherever you are sending your package to or from.
- Any items that have a legal age requirement to consume in the U.S. such as tobacco, alcohol, pornography etc.
- Mixed CDs containing copyrighted music or similar, including copied software, CDs, DVDs, etc
If you are uncertain please check Craftsters guidelines as well as your local post office

2. If you are sending BAKED GOODS, please only send them if you and your partner live in the same country. I don't want anyone's package to go MIA with the lovely customs officials. Also, if you are sending baked goods, you may leave them out of your package and send them individually so they arrive in a timely manner and don't spoil or go stale.

3. I highly recommend that you wrap your items in a plastic bag/trash bag/ or some other protective wrapping INSIDE the box you are sending. Because of the time of the year packages can get WET due to the post office/ups/etc. leaving them on the doorstep AND some swappers have suggested that you also do this with anything you might send to a hot climate that might melt on your swap goodies.

4. Also, if you will be shipping to a partner that is in a HOT climate during the swap send outs, please do not include anything that might melt on their swap goodies. Think about wrapping them in a plastic baggie or something similar.

5. Here is some info from the USPS on the Flat Rate Boxes: these can be used for Domestic and International but the rates differ for International shipments. And if you purchase your postage online at usps.com or by paypal, com you get a small discount on the postage price. The Flat Rate boxes themselves are FREE (you still have to pay for postage ) from your local post office and also FREE if you get them online from the website usps.com, they will deliver them to you free of charge too!! Canada has some shipping envelopes that can be used within the country or region and prices will vary, but if you are sending something heavy they are a good choice.

6. I highly recommend that each of you put together a PINTEREST. These are a huge help for your swap partner. They get to look through all the things you have put into it to get a feel for what you like.  If you do not have a Pinterest account, please pm me and I will send you an invite so you can get started sooner than the 2 day wait or whatever it is now.

Also remember to read the Swap Info Guide to find out how to ship your packages and other details about participating in a swap.

AND AS A REMINDER:
Please remember to keep in the holiday spirit.  Extras are optional-but quality is NOT optional.  I want everyone to receive nice items that were crafted/bought with them in mind.  So, in other words Please read their questionnaire over and over and make sure you are sending them something they will like (not just something you like to make), and not just random things thrown in a box.  Its never fun to receive a thought-less package, especially when they worked hard to make you crafty wonderful-ness from the heart.
