word of caution when using wrapping paper-- many types of wrapping paper are difficult to deal with when using a glue stick. i find that many kinds of wrapping paper curls  a lot when wet with glue, making it necessary to work very quickly once the glue is applied. glue dots solve this problem

oh my goodness! i have tried to crochet several times and each time, i've gotten frustrated and quit before i made any real progress... this might be the thing that makes me stick to it! they're SO CUTE! you did such a great job! thanks for posting the patterns

those are cute! stationary sets are always good gifts. you could cut a matching or coordinating length of ribbon or paper and wrap it around the stack of cards and envelopes. if you do one around horizontally and one vertically, they would stay all together and as an added bonus, they would look all bundled and even cuter
