152  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / First posted project! LOST birthday card on: July 28, 2010 09:20:03 AM
I make cards and postcards all the time, but this is the first one I'm sharing here... so exciting!  My boyfriend and I watched LOST together and I made this birthday card for him a few weeks ago.  I used junk mail (envelope, cardstock flyer), a magazine cover, a brown paper lunch bag, a glue stick and double sided tape. I really like how it turned out and I'd love to know what other people think.  Hope you like it! Smiley

before...

the front...

inside... (this picture must've been compressed weirdly... the dimensions look off)

inside again... it wouldn't lie flat and was a bit wobbly, hence the blurry... it's Horace saying "LET'S SAVE THE WORLD TOGETHER!"

the back of the card...

the envelope after I shortened it (it's definitely more gold-y in real life)

the back of the envelope... I love that Dharma seal!

I love the look in his eye!! To me, he seems like he could be a Simpson's bird Smiley

I like, I like! I, too, get frustrated with the price of stamps!  Erasers work well, too.  Good idea, using lids for bases!

I love these SO much!  I love cute panties, but, I have issues with paying what boutiques charge. Looks like we have a solution!  I'm hitting this rocks! HARD!

these are awesome!  japanese school kids make them for ailing classmates/family members and then string them together through the body and then hang them vertically, like weeping willow branches... i've seen tens of thousands of them displayed like that, and it's STUNNING! i really like the mound of cranes, too! very nice!
