I love this bag!
The colors are super and it has a great "american folkart" feel.
Very bright and carefree looking.
Love it!!

You did a great job!!!

How did you punch the holes in them?

I love this bag!!! I makes me want to start sewing again.
But that would require me to clean the craft room.

I get my mugs from thrift shops and yard sales. They normally run 20 to 50 cents.
I'm a sucker for cheep retro stuff.

Here's a link to his web site, he makes these really cool paintings, and I'm pretty sure that's what he's gonna use them for.  He's started working alot with found object type things and he thinks that these will work great for an up comming project.

here's a link to his myspace, there are a bunch more paintings in his photo section (if you have myspace)

Sorry if I let everyone down by not mailing them out.

Sorry for the lack of updates. Here's the deal with the stickers.

I listed them on Craigs list and found someone who wanted to buy them from me so I sold a good majority of them to him and the rest were given to a friend for an art project he was working on.

I loved all of your ideas but in the end I just wanted to get them out of my house as quickly as possible.

Thanks for all the wonderful comments!!

I got the fruit fabric from www.jcarolinecreative.com
but I don't know if they still offer it. Other then that they have some great prints and their prices aren't too bad.

I think the fruit fabric was a Alexander Henry print, I'm sure if you google his name you'll find someone who still sells that print.

The two bags with tie tops are reversible and the pictures show the inside and outside of the bags.

I do sell them actually, I have an etsy shop On The Fly nymc
But none of these bags are up there yet. I try to sell all my bags for under $30, the two with the ties and the little kids are $25 and the fruit bag is $20.

Yeah I used little black rhinestones and covered all of them, well except the ones that were under the flower and mesh material.

The straps are just plastic tubing that I got at a local hardware store, I use to use ball chain but the tubing is way cheeperand I laminated them with contact paper.

I had one that was Andy Warhol themed and it sold really fast. It was sad cuz I kinda wanted to keep it for myself. Oh well it made someone else happy.
