11  74 thousand stickers that read "July 31st, 2006" in What the heck can I do with THIS? by MeShellRene on: December 13, 2005 01:52:12 PM
Hello the company I work for had some stickers printed, 74 thousand to be exact, but the company that printed them accidently printed them the wrong size. So instead of throwing them away I opted to take them home.
But what the heck can I do with 'em???

They're approx  1.25 inches by .5 inches
Here's what they look like

12  Trick or Treat Bag in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by MeShellRene on: October 19, 2005 12:40:39 PM
Here's a bag I made for the daughter of a lady I work with. I LOVE the fabric plus it GLOWS IN THE DARK!!! I kinda wanted to keep it for my self but since I have more fabric I guess I just have to make one for me to keep.

This kinda shows what it looks like in the dark.... I took it with the night vision setting setting, only the web part glows

13  Something New.. well sorta. (image heavy) in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by MeShellRene on: October 19, 2005 11:43:26 AM
Here is a new bag I made its kind of a combination of a bunch of different bags I was inspired by. This is the first of its kind so the pattern and assembly need to be tweaked alittle befor I sell any.

14  Re: Help with Senior Shirt Slogans in Discussion and Questions by MeShellRene on: September 26, 2005 08:11:31 AM
Actually I've been out of high school for almost five years. It was for my cousin. They wanted a "unique" senior shirt and since I'm a designer at a t-shirt company I volunteered my services.

Here is what they ended up going with.

Feel free to check out our website ImageMarket.com for more ideas that our designers came up with.

15  Re: **UPDATED** Funky Retro Pin Cushion in Completed Projects by MeShellRene on: September 26, 2005 07:24:32 AM
Here's how I assembled all the innards.
Fabric
     |
Lots of Stuffing
     |
Foam Ball

I pull the fabric down over the ball then use the cheep straight pins and attach the fabric to the ball.
Most of the time the ball fits snugly into the mug. If it doesn't I just kinda crunch the sides a tad till it does fit.
(Be careful not to try to jam the ball into the mug... I broke a mug and almost cut my self.)
You could use hot glue to attach the ball to the inside of the mug to make sure it stays secure.

I'm sure people are getting sick of me posting the stuff I'm going to take to an up coming craft show. But I just love to hear what people think about my stuff. ya know? Any how here's the bags.

This one won't fit an iPod but I thought I'd include it anyhow.

17  Who's gonna watch Martha Stewart Apprentice? Fess Up! in Discussion and Questions by MeShellRene on: September 21, 2005 12:48:58 PM

I'm so stoked for the premier of her show tonight!! I only wish I would have tried out for it. I know I'm not the only one out there who loves "The Apprentice" series. So fess up! Who else has their VCR's set?

Ooo Ooo also does anyone know anybody who did make it on the show? Our someone who tried out? That would be fun to hear about too.

Wow everyone's wedding photos are so great. I can't believe there are already four pages.
So I finally got mine scanned and wow was it hard to narrow it down to.. well eight.  Smiley

And lastly my cake... I LOVED IT!!  It was a red velvet so it had this wonderful bright red color inside.

19  New book totes and a few anything pouches **** Image Heavy **** in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by MeShellRene on: September 07, 2005 02:55:51 PM
Here are two new totes I made for an up coming craft show. I call them "book" totes because they are the perfect size for magazines and books. They come in super handy when your coming home from the library and have a load of books to carry.

These pouches are also for that same show

20  **UPDATED w/ tutorial** Funky Retro Pin Cushion in Completed Projects by MeShellRene on: August 24, 2005 12:45:15 PM
Here's an idea that I came up with while trying to figure out what to do with all these coffee mugs I had (I don't drink coffee so I really don't know why I bought them in the first place) This is just a proto-type I plan on posting more photos of the updated cushion. But here's the just of it. One funky mug plus some extra stuffin and matching material equals one crazy pin cushion

I don't think I'll make them with this type of fur maybe something alittle shorter.
Plus I thought I'd add a magnet to the bottom of the mug for easy pin pick up.

I want to sell these at an up coming craft show and was wondering what you all thought I should charge for them. I was thinking around $5.

****UPDATE****

Here's another one I made for that same craft show. I keep forgeting to take a photo of the magnet on the bottom. Oh well maybe next time.

***** TUTORIAL UPDATE  *****
I has this tutorial on the fourth page but moved it here so you could find it easier.
Enjoy!!

Here's how I assembled all the innards.

And thanks so much for all the great comments!!
