12  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: MORE MORE MORE! on: February 19, 2013 06:57:18 AM
Thanks and yeah there is, I hadn't remembered there was white too until I was done with it XP. So I added that white stripe at the bottom. The people I asked said they didn't really like the white stripe that much and that I should take it out. I think it would've looked better if I added a couple more throughout the hat in general or did the big white blocks like the rest of the hat. Thanks for the comment

Very cute! I love the color pattern of the hat, it pops yet it's also subtle, if that makes sense. The colors go well with each other Smiley Nice job!

Thank you so much I appreciate it, but don't stress about it. I can always try eyeballing it and seeing what I come up with! Cheesy
16  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Re: Crafters block. Help! on: January 14, 2013 11:11:11 PM
@ AcrophobicPixie : haha yeah I'm actually constantly making hats it's seems. Before I actually hated making them because they were so time consuming but now that I've found a wonderful pattern thats quick It seems like they're all I'm ever making! XP
And I just completed this scarf (I posted it with my slouchy hat in the crochet completed projects, it's the red scarf). It's a really simple pattern where you just basically make an "X". You should check it out, you just skip one stitch double(or triple if you want) crochet in the next two stitches and then go back and do a double(or triple) crochet in the stitch you skipped. I think it'd look nice with the color changing. you should try it! Cheesy

@Alexus1325 : Those are some nice patterns. Unfortunately I don't have a cat, just a finicky dog that likes attention lol. But I'll have to keep those in mind. I actually just started a swap with someone from another craft website so I have my hands full right now with TOO many things I want to make lol but I'll be sure to post pictures and everything on here when I'm done with her surprises! Cheesy

Thanks for the suggestions by the way! Cheesy

Thanks! It was actually a lot easier than I thought it'd be, just time consuming. I was going to make a multicolored one I had saw but I didn't have enough time. If I can find the pattern again I'll post it!

And for the scarves they were just something I whipped up last minute, although I knew my sister wanted the stripped one but I just procrastinated lol. Glad you enjoyed them! Cheesy
18  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Crafters block. Help! on: January 13, 2013 07:10:40 PM
I'm having a crafters block and don't know what to make. Crocheting is my "main" craft I guess you could say, it's something I enjoy along with writing and photography, but I have no clue what I should make now. I want to make something fun and creative that can inspire people to crochet (or possibly want to buy  Wink) but I have not I have no idea what it should be! Help!
19  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: Macbook sock and first post in years! on: January 13, 2013 01:49:36 PM
very cute! I'm tempted to make something like that but my moms friend just gave me a new laptop case so I don't know if I should. I'm waiting to go get more yarn too. hopefully I'll find a color that I just HAVE to use on something like this.

good job on it! and welcome back! Cheesy
20  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: I'm back with lots of pictures!!! :D on: January 13, 2013 01:45:28 PM
@Antidigger: haha yeah. I think the best part about he pattern I used was that it was really quick to pull off. I could do one hat in a day (of course that's with me getting constantly distracted lol, maybe I should try doing a project where I just sit and make something and don't stop until I'm done!). It was a really simple pattern too and theirs endless possibilities to the designs you can do with it.

@veggiechef: yeah I thought they were the PERFECT colors for a little girl. I was wearing it all the time until I had to give it up to her lol
