1  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Re: Where can I purchase sewing pattern paper? on: May 25, 2012 05:41:55 AM
Thanks so much! I think we have a Dick Blick store close by. That name always makes me laugh.  Cheesy
2  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Where can I purchase sewing pattern paper? on: May 24, 2012 09:53:43 PM
I am fairly new to sewing, but I do want to make my own yoga/gaucho pants for the dance classes that I take. I saw a tutorial on threadbangers that I thought was decent/doable. I just don't know where I can get tracing paper. I looked at Joann's last week, but all they had was small stuff - nothing big enough for a pair of pants. Do you buy yours at a brick and mortar store or online?
Thanks!

Ok, so I know that my partner posted a pic of my apron, but here is a pic of it on me. Not the most flattering pic, but that is ok. She included colored pens!!! as goodies and a great cat toy - a bee on a wand, which both of my cats looooooove. Cat toys are pretty hit and miss with them, but these guys really get into swatting the bee around and going after it,which is especially good for my Fred, who is on an exercise regimen since he is pretty overweight.
Thank you so much Audrey!!! The swap was fun and I love my apron. I haven't worn it yet to cook or clean (mostly because I haven't done much cooking or cleaning - I'm lazy  Grin)

I got my package on Friday and I love love love it!!!! Sorry that I didn't post sooner. I've been running around like a headless chicken these past few days and just didn't get online here. My hubby took some pics of me in the apron, but I look awful (bad hair and no makeup) so I will make him take pics when I look more presentable and then will post later. I got some fab goodies too - two packs of colored pens - my faves and a cat toy! Yay!!!
Thank you Audrey for an awesome package. Your sewing skills are just amazing! I love my apron.
