Make a peplum out of a lumberjack plaid shirt. Basically, just take a large or extra-large plaid men's collared shirt, cut it off right below the armpits and gather the cut edge to fit the bottom band of the jacket. I saw one not even a half hour ago on Etsy and it was adorable
So I got this really cute light blue jean jacket for a holiday, and I wore it non-stop until I saw a picture of myself in it, and realized that it's cut (which is just under the bust line) made me look like a triangle, a big poofy triangle. I've been trying to figure out how to maybe patch work it into a longer jacket, without making it obvious as to what the original design was like, that's like screaming "THIS JACKET ONCE MADE ME LOOK LIKE A BIG POOFY TRIANGLE SO I FIXEDED IT!" I'd rather it scream "THIS IS AN AWESOME JACKET!"
Anyway, I have all summer, because it's hot, and I need ideas. Please and thank you.
I'll have to remember this. We have a basket of a crayons at work (I'm a waitress) and of course some break, smash, and generally look ugly. I wonder if I could make little coffee cups?...........(brain wanders into oblivion).
