Brambles are, erm, vigorous. Wink The main thing you'll need to do is keep it under control. Is it a cultivated thornless variety or a spikey one?

I picked that vigorous thing up from some of my research: "Best Soil; sandy, clay, fertile, etc  Best sun: Full, partial, shade, etc"

And they are prickley.  I learned that the hard way.

They are growing with a bunch of "wild" plants in the middle of our backyard that may have been, once upon a time, a flower bed.  I probably need to wade in there and see if I can seperate the berries from the other.

I just discovered that we have blackberry bush/vine/creeper thing in the backyard and would like to cultivate them.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I did a little research, but aside from noting that I need to fight the birds if I want to keep the fruit and prune them this fall, all the tips were. . .vague.

Saw him on the front page and exclaimed "Eeyore!"  He is adorable.

Ditto!  I love the "Classic Pooh" look as well.  It's what I grew up with.

I never made it on the scary Alien ride, but I did go on Stitch's Great Escape and I agree with bsonlytoots- NEVER AGAIN,  Tongue

My sister won't ride Dinosaur either. But on a lighter note, we've turned "It's a Small World" into 'Spot the Ruminants Around the World."  (Yes, we're in the less than enthused camp when it comes to Small World)

you know, ive never been to animal kingdom. whats dinosaur?

the haunted mansion, tower of terror, and space mountain are 3 of my most favorite rides!it is definetly hard to choose though because so many of them are wonderful

I think the actual name is Dinosaur: Countdown to Extinction.  It's a dark/gimble ride.  Part Star Tours, part Snow White with dinosaurs and meteors.

I'm not a huge fan of Tower of Terror, but I always get talked into riding it at least once.  I love the theming, but the up&down. . .not so much fun for me.
339  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: The Dark Knight, kept in stitches! on: June 03, 2011 08:33:52 PM
This is quite possibly the coolest needlework I've ever seen.

I'm speachless.

i think it would be fun if we all shared some of our favorite rides and shows at the disney parks, what do you guys think?

I've never been to Disneyland, just WDW - many times.  Top must not miss for each park:

Magic Kingdom: Haunted Mansion followed closely by Space Mountain (the first roller coaster I ever enjoyed!)
EPCOT: Soarin'
Animal Kingdom: Everest now, but Dinosaur is close to my heart too!
Studios: Star Tours (and now it's open I don't think I'll be able to get my DH away from it.  His goal is to see as many possible permutations of the multiple adventures)  But Rockin' Roller Coaster is growing on me.

Just a few days until the serious Disney Crafting can begin.  I can't wait!!
