OOOH! I would gladly do more favors for people if I got something like THIS as a 'thank you'!  Wink

These are absolutely amazing! I adore fabric flowers, and kanzashi in particular. I wonder how you make those branches with leaves, do you sew the leaves on? Are the stiches visible and is it at all possible to make them invisible?

Sorry I'm so slow to get back to you, been flat out busy with real life. In regards to the dangles, it's glued on...there is a tutorial which one of my fellow kanzashi artisan has created that may give you a better idea: http://kurokami-kanzashi.deviantart.com/gallery/#Tutorials-and-Resources

I adore kanzashis. I wish I had the talent and patience to make them. I would wear them everywhere! Yours are really wonderful.

Thank you  Cheesy Yeah, kanzashi requires a fair bit of patience and practice, but it's definitely worth it in the end  Grin needless to say there is quite a few screams of frustration during the process lol

Beautiful, even maybe for the non-bride!

Thank you! I think it would also look great if you have a white sundress, or even possibily a white formal gown.

KanzashiHime, your work is always SO lovely and VERY professional!  I adore every piece you have ever made Smiley

Aww thank you! I'm really happy to hear you say that as it is what I strive to achieve  Cheesy

So I've been experimenting with kanzashi's for quite awhile now and decided to let my mind go free and just make a kanzashi that I felt look good rather than to a particular flower...

Since I haven't done anything too complex, I thought I'd challenge myself to make something a bride would wear Grin The metallic fabrics were something I really wanted to use more often but since they had too much of a 'formal' feel to them, I rarely use them....and this was a good excuse to use them! lol

Would love to know what you think!
