I really like these!

I like how 'blocky' and pure the colours are - I can't use oil pastels for love nor money. I always end up with grubby handprints on the painting...and the walls...and my face

That's incredible... so much fluidity and movement!

This took me a ridiculous amount of time to do - I had never painted with acrylics before, I don't really ever paint, period, so it was very trial-and-error. I made it for a friend's birthday, it took me 40-50 hours at least, I redid the sky literally at least 15 times. I was pretty happy with how it turned out.

Although I loved doing it, my memories of the painting are quite bittersweet (I gave it to my friend... and then we had a massive fall out, and despite my best efforts I never saw him, or the painting again) and I don't have any good photos of it. These are pics I found saved to my laptop, they've been moved around, so the quality has reduced. The original photos were on my phone, which was stolen by communists*.

I think jewellry preference goes in groups - either everyone loves it or noone does.
