Thanks everybody! I don't really know if my sanity is still intact, but I'm still trying to pop out as many aprons as possible!
2  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Oodles of Aprons! on: July 22, 2010 08:15:12 PM
So I decided to make housewarming gifts for everyone that was moving off campus. I thought aprons would be cute and relatively quick because I have to make 30.  I didn't know I had that many friends!  So here are the first 7 Smiley

There's a tutorial on my blog Smiley
3  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / First Quilt AKA what was I thinking? on: July 20, 2010 10:52:23 AM
So I thought quilting was just like sewing anything else.  I did not quite understand the time it takes, so I am truly blown away by the talent that posts on the site.  I made up my own pattern with scraps I had and kind of made everything up as I went along.  I used a turtoial on flikr for the mitered corners though.  I'm glad it's done and I'm very happy the only casualty was a needle.  There's more about it on my blog if your interested Smiley
